Matador was founded by the lead attorney of Cohen & Cohen in Washington DC. Cohen & Cohen was a pioneer in legal SEO and has been ranking for years there. However, using Cohen & Cohen’s ranking performance as a predictor of Matador’s SEO ability would be a mistake. Outside of Cohen, you will not see one of their sites competing in a major market. This might be because they continue to use outdated spammy SEO techniques, like keyword stuffing the anchor of links at the bottom of every page. There is a reason most SEO companies stopped doing this 10 years ago.
