Delaware Top Law Firm Websites
Today I look at the best looking legal sites in Delaware. As I do in every State I keep an extensive database of legal websites. I use it to track design, retention and rankings of the many legal design & SEO companies. I originally posted this on Nov 22, 2014. I thought it was definitely time for an update. Here are my favorite design in the First State!
- Morris James Delaware – Great looking corporate site that features some impressive drone footage
- Barros McNamara, Malkiewicz & Taylor – Great looking site from Apricot Law. Excellent photography helps it stand out. My one complaint is its a bit busy up top.
3. Poole Mensinger Cutrona & Ellsworth – My favorite family law site in Delaware. Nice effort from FindLaw.
4. Thomas A. Foley – My favorite criminal law website in Delaware. Very good custom photography and video. However, if you are going to invest in a beautiful website and video, I would recommend using a video player OTHER than YouTube. The problem with using YouTube, is that when the video ends, YouTube serves up 12 other videos that your visitor would likely be interested in. Now using a custom video player will likely cost some money(YouTube is Free), its definitely worth it as you reduce the risk of people leaving your site to watch a kitten video.
5. Michael W. Modica – The only Delaware firm to make the top 5 list now and the last time we did it in 2014. In 2014 Michael had a FindLaw site. This time he makes the list with a nice site from Mile Mark Media. 
This was my original post on Nov 22nd, 2014. Almost every site here has been upgraded or switched companies.
The “First State” is definitely not the first state when it comes to legal website design. The large majority of legal sites are from FindLaw and given the general lack of online competition in Delaware, most of them have good visibility. The highlight is the new Michael Modica site which is one of the better FindLaw sites I have seen.

The best looking legal design in Delaware is a Findlaw site! Great to see the legal marketing giant starting to incorporate the more modern “long form scrolling” design style.

#3 Weik, Nitsche, Dougherty and Galbraith
Quality Findlaw site with a good color scheme. Older “box” style design. Look like a Matt Jewett design. Matt is a very talented designer at FindLaw.
#4 Potter Anderson Corroon
Professional looking conceptual design from Firmseek. Like most large firm websites, the site lacks onsite SEO.
5. Michael C. Heyden
Very Clean and content rich FindLaw site and like most Findlaw sites in Delaware, is fairly visible.
