Atlanta PI – ARC Scores

Today I look at the Average Rank Consistency scores for one of the most competitive personal injury markets in the country, Atlanta.

I track 287 sites that market personal injury online in Atlanta. I got this list by going to the 15th page of Google results for 8 different personal injury keywords. I have been doing this analysis in Atlanta since 2016.

Competition:
Besides the sheer number of competitors, just about every serious SEO company is represented in Atlanta. My company, iLawyermarketing, has just one SEO client in Atlanta. That site sports one of the top ARC scores in Atlanta, the top score in Savannah and has a dominant statewide truck accident site.

Another sign of the intense competition in Atlanta is number of new designs. By my count 56 firms launched new designs in 2020.

The usual players (Scorpion, FindLaw and Justia) lead the way with 54 sites between them that market PI in the State. A surprise on the list is BluShark Digital with 7 sites that market PI in Atlanta. Now BluShark Digital does not mark their sites so I wonder if this is a surprise to their clients who are all competing with each other.

Sites on the Move
I have been tracking the online personal injury market since 2016 . A lot has changed since then. Only two firms (Chris Simon and Morgan & Morgan) were in the top 10 for ARC in December 2016 and today.

Some noticeable drops have taken place recently. Scorpion’s long time showcase client in Atlanta, the Kalka Law Group, has dropped from an impressive 1.58 ARC in 2016 to 6.10 today. Another big drop happened for John Foy. One of the biggest advertisers in Georgia saw a sharp decline in rankings last year – going form 1.08 in March 2020 to 3.78 today. Ouch!
