Alaska Legal Websites
Today I continue my series on top legal websites from around the country. The plan is to go through every State, in alphabetical order, and look at every website I can find. This week its Alaska.
Alaska is the land of truly scenic beauty. But when it comes to great legal websites – not so much. So if you are looking for legal website design inspiration you should check out some other States. Of course my hope is that attorneys in Alaska discover there are other legal website providers than Lexis and Findlaw and this list will improve.

This is actually a very nice website from Scorpion. The home page animation sequence shows some stunning photos of the Alaskan wilderness. I took a screenshot of my favorite – but they are all good and worth checking out.

This is actually a pretty terrible website by almost any measure. As I write this there is virtually no content for this website. It does have a cool picture with one word “prompt”. The main site is in Minnesota and has some good content so I am giving the site the benefit of the doubt in a very weak field.

3. www.northlaw.com
This is an above average FindLaw site thanks to a very nice color scheme that works well
4. www.foleyfoley.com
Nice looking estate planning site. Use of old black and white pictures is a great concept for an estate planning website.
5. http://duilawyeralaska.org/Very simple and clean modern looking design – but it has very poor visibility for a focused DWI site.

Honorable Mention:
http://www.aktriallaw.com/ (Anchorage PI lawyer with dated Findlaw site but great video)
