Texas is a massive State so I broke out the State into 6 markets (Austin, Dallas Metro, Houston Metro, San Antonio, West Texas and East Texas) . The clear leader in Texas when it comes to legal websites is FindLaw. I count 344 FindLaw custom sites along with 165 template sites. Scorpion design is also quite strong with 256 sites in the State. Hibu is a distant third with 162 sites in the State. A surprise is Local Edge with 58 sites. They must have a good salesperson in the Permian Basin.

Kant Law – Very nice family law site with a number of interactive elements
Ross Law Group – A great example of a site successfully marketing two distinct practice areas (Employment Law and PI). Site was built by iLawyermarketing in 2016.

West Texas/Pan Handle
Here I look at the legal websites in West Texas. This includes El Paso, Amarillo, Lubbock, Abilene, Midland, Odessa and San Angelo. I reviewed all of the legal websites in this area on 1/18/2019. The distribution of websites is quite different in West Texas, with Hibu having as many sites as FindLaw in the region. In fact there are very few custom or even semi-custom websites in the area.
